The DKRC furniture assembly clamp is designed for the assembly of glued furniture elements. The body is welded from steel sections which ensure the machine’s stiffness. The horizontal clamping unit, consisting of a frame welded from a closed section, is hung on the body's top beam as a moving cart. Horizontal clamps equipped with two pneumatic actuators are installed on the frame. Adjustment of the entire unit is done manually. The vertical clamping unit, consisting of a frame, is made from a closed section, and lifted and dropped by means of a screw mechanism. Vertical clamps equipped with two pneumatic actuators are installed on the frame. Control of the actuators is effected by means of control valves, located on the machine body. Two trapezoidal screws with bearings in the press body, being parts of the lifting mechanism, are coupled with a chain transmission. Lifting nuts are connected with the vertical clamping unit frame; the rotating screws lift the nut along with the entire clamping unit.
